Smoked Leg Ham

This selected pork leg has approximately 1/3 of the skin removed from the front of the leg and fat is cut on a bevel. It is then cured using special cures to give it a distinct flavour. It is cooked and naturally smoked using real hardwood chips, not chemical dips or sprays. Cooking instructions are included on the reverse side of the label. A great holiday tradition but can be enjoyed as a main dish for any meal, any time.

Pork, Water, Salt, Sugars (sugar), Sodium phosphate, Seaweed flour, Sodium erythorbate, Sodium nitrite, Spices, Artificial flavour, Smoke.
Cooking instructions are included on the reverse side of the label: Preheat oven to 350’F (170’C). Remove ham from plastic wrapper and netting. Place in large roasting pan and add approx. 1″ (25mm) of cold water to the bottom of pan. Heat 25-40 minutes per kilogram, or until meat thermometer reads 160’F (71’C). Our Hams are fully spiced and smoked, therefore do not need any further addition of seasonings.
