Sausage Gravy and Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Harvest Meats Pure Pork Sausage 375g
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 to 3 cups milk depending on how thick you like your gravy
  • 2 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. chili flakes optional
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green onion for topping optional
  • biscuits warmed

Instructions
 

  • Make biscuits using your favourite recipe.
  • Brown one package of Harvest Pure Pork Sausage in a skillet until no longer pink. Do not drain.
  • Once browned, slowly sprinkle in flour and stir.
  • Cook for another minute or two.
  • Slowly add the milk and stir as it thickens.
  • Keep adding milk, stirring frequently until the gravy is thick and luscious. If it thickens too soon, add a little more milk.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Spoon over warm biscuits and sprinkle with green onion.
